The Pokecube mod allows players to visit a Pokemon virtual world inside of Minecraft. This mod enables 3-D virtual Pokemon characters to roam the world where players may attempt to catch the various Pokemon. There are also other aspects of this mod such as various different Pokeballs that can be used as well as over 50 Pokemon mobs that also yield the ability to challenge the player's ability and technique in successfully catching them.
Pokecube Mod Gameplay
Players may influence a variety of factors in the game including controlling mobs and may also direct their own Pokemob onto other enemy mobs. There are also four different types of Pokecubes the player may utilize including the standard Pokecube, Greatcube, Ultracube and the Mastercube. Each type of Pokecube possess it’s own unique damage and catching rates. Above each Pokecube mob, there is a life bar that turns different colors to represent the mob’s health, the mob’s damage and the XP points of the mob. However, wild mobs don’t display their XP points or HP points and need to be within close range to see their life bar level.
Pokecube Mod Features
When the player wins a battle with their mob, the character within the Pokemob who delivered the final blow will receive the XP point for the battle. The Pokedex GUI allows players to view statistics on various mobs as well as assign nick names so the player may remember the mob at a later time. Another unique feature about the Pokecube mod is that the Pokemobs may fall in love and lay an egg if the moment is right. Afterwards, the player may then pick up the egg and place it in their inventory. Majority of the popular Pokemon characters are included in this mod as well as some rare characters. The characters in this mod include Pikachu, Bulbasuar, Charizard, Squirtle, Slowpoke, Weezing, Jolteon, Flareon and many others.
