I have the minecolony mod (takes up a lot) and adding certain other mods causes error messages about multiple items using the same ID number. Tried this and another way at ModLoader.com, but nothing helped, just either error message or black screen. Been working on trying to modify the items but haven't had much luck yet. backing up your working file is always helpful.
