Fossil/Archeology Revival Mod - 1.7.10 / 1.7.2 / 1.6.4Download available for: 1.7.10, 1.7.2, 1.6.4
This awesome mod will breathe new life into your minecraft worlds. Actually, the mod will breathe ancient life into your world in new and exciting ways. Bring back pre-historic life forms such as T-Rex dinosaurs, triceratops, velociraptors, mammoths, saber tooth tigers and many, many more rampaging around your creations. Of course, there is much more to cover in this powerful and popular mod, so let’s get to it!
The Fossil Archeology Revival mod for minecraft adds a ton of new features to the game, without unbalancing or destroying the original style of game play. First off, as you are mining you are bound to come across new fossils in the stone you are chewing apart. These fossilized remains may be bones, lost artifacts, or even scarab jewels. The spawn rate for these new fossilized rocks is low enough to make them feel special when you come across them, but high enough not to aggravate you when you are farming for them.
These fossils can then be analyzed by the utilizing the included machines you can construct. Analyzing items like bones may give you bone meal or even rare dinosaur DNA. Dinosaur DNA can then further be cultivated into eggs or embryos. Those dinosaurs can be tamed, feed and ordered around or be left wild for the fun of it. There are flying dinosaurs you can ride and an underwater dinosaur you can swim on.
In your adventures you may come across some ancient broken items, these can be repaired into working items by using an ancient workbench and relics to bring them back to working condition. Scarab gems can be used to upgrade your vanilla minecraft equipment into improved Scarab tools. Perhaps the coolest thing about this mod is that you can find weapon shop relics containing new weapons for your world.
