Fossil Archeology Mod

The Fossil Archeology mod for Minecraft presents another dimension of gameplay to the Minecraft series. In the Fossil Archeology mod, players are able to search for dinosaur and dinosaur egg fossils within the surrounding virtual archaeological land. Besides finding the fossils, players may also utilize special tools to analyze and even cultivate ancient artifacts and other fossilized items.

Fossil Archeology Mod Gameplay

Players may venture the Minecraft world in search of dinosaur fossils, ancient plants and various other items such as skulls and also organic material items like bone, eggs, raw porkchops, slimeballs, ancient eggs, milk and other materials. Upon finding the items, players may use the analyzer machine to analyze live tissue that may be within some fossils. Upon analyzing the live tissue, the analyzer may find fossil DNA that may be used to produce ancient eggs. If live fossil DNA is found, the player may input the DNA into the cultivator machine along with a selection of bio-fossil materials in hopes of producing an ancient egg. Besides the cultivator machine, there’s also an archeology workbench that players may use to forge broken equipment by using relics. There is also an order drum that players may use to organize their dinosaurs as well a a feeder machine that grinds and stores various different meats and vegetables in silo storage containers for the dinosaurs to feed upon.

Fossil Archeology Mod Features

There are many other aspects of the fossil archeology mod that include new items as well as new dinosaur mobs that consist of many different dinosaur species. There are items in the archeology mod such as plant seeds the player may plant, a dinopedia which explains dinosaurs feelings and moods as well as various secret fossils and helpful items that may be gathered. The dinosaur mobs include dinosaur species such as Tyrannosaurus Rex, Velociraptors, Stegosaurus and many other dinosaurs. Also included in the mobs are a series of new animals such as a Mammoth and a Saber-toothed cat.


How to install:

  1. Download ModLoader, Forge API and AudioMod
  2. Install ModLoader and AudioMod
  3. Download the Fossil Archeology Mod!
  4. Delete META INF
  5. Drag the files into .minecraft
  6. Enjoy and play!

    The way I got it too work is that inbetween each mod download i went to options and made minecraft force update, when i did this minecraft opened

    AudioMod is just for the sounds. It's not a requirement, but you will miss out on the sounds of the mod.

    for some reason after installing this mod correctly and checking that it works.. my head is constantly on fire..everytime I walk in reverse it blcks my screen with fire..its kinda annoying allthough it doesn't affect my health..any suggestions to a fix? all help is appreciated.. thanks in advance.

    you have to backup your saves and delete .minecraft then run the game so you get plain .minecraft folder. it worked for me.n
