Do you want to see everything that is going around your house? Maybe thieves are stealing your stuff and you dont know who it is? Well with this mod you can just add some CCTV Cameras around your house and see whats going on in all the corners. This way it also becomes easy to keep an eye on creepers you need to remove ;) . So what are you waiting for? Install the mod and build your own security system.

The CCTV video camera mod for Minecraft allows you to enjoy and rig up a “close circuit television” monitoring room and cameras. When this mod is installed, you now have the ability to set up video cameras (such as points around your house) and observe the footage elsewhere.

The CCTV video camera mod only adds two items to Minecraft, CCTV Cameras and CCTV Monitors. Before you can set up your cameras, you’ll need to build them of course. Crafting a CCTV Camera requires an Iron Ingot in each of the top rows, an Iron Ingot, Glass, and an Iron Ingot across the middle row, and Redstone along the entire bottom row. Crafting the CCTV Monitor for your CCTVs requires Glass, an Iron Ingot, and Glass along the top row, an Iron Ingot, Glass, and an Iron Ingot along the middle row, and Redstone, Glass, and Redstone along the bottom row. Applying a CCTV Monitor works similar to placing a painting on a wall, so you may have to try a few times to get a size that you’re comfortable with.

CCTV Cameras do not have a night vision feature, so you’ll need to have a source of lighting nearby, a simple torch should be enough. Once you’ve placed at least one CCTV Camera, you can then observe the camera’s field of vision from your home or wherever else you placed your CCTV Monitor. Amusingly, if you only have cameras in your inventory or tool belt, the CCTV Monitor will register you as the active camera, which can produce some disorienting visuals when looking through the CCTV Monitor. Furthermore, each CCTV Monitor can only display one Camera’s view at a time, so no matter how large the Monitor, it can only project one image (no picture in picture option).

Creative ideas for this mod can include building a police headquarters, fantasy setting projects could simply consider this a scrying crystal, or if you’re a comic book fan, you could easily use this to make your own Bat-Cave or Ozymandias’ lair from Watchmen.


How to install:

  1. Download and install Modloader into your minecraft.jar.
  2. Download Kaevator’s CCTV video camera screen mod.
  3. Open up minecraft.jar using winrar (run/%appdata%/roaming/.minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar).
  4. Drag the files inside the mod you downloaded into minecraft.jar (Open by winrar is called folder)

    Prahaps you got modloader NO mods are going to load on it so i recemmend to download Minecraft Forage 1. Put The Minecraft Forage In Minecraft.jar

    2. Put camra mod in Mods folder if you dont have one create a “mods” folder for your mod to work

    This is a completely useless org. site. nothing here will really work. everything has ads. this mod was never updated. it was only maked for 1.2.5, you can find the mod with installer. installs everything you need (forge, api, etc.) the mod, and cleans the jar. allt his can be found on Skydaz. Thats a really good website.

    Azhar Hussain go to .minecraft and when u see the minecraft.jar in the bin then right click it and copy it into some folder or somwhere. and when ya want to use it again then take the folder where ya saved the minecraft.jar then just drag it to the bin again. hope it helped

    Azhar Hussain, just go into the .minecraft (Start/run-->u0025appdatau0025-->Roaming) then, click your bin file, click copy, and put it somewhere, and then test the mod, if it doesnt work then delete the in the .minecraft and place the copied bin file back in the .minecraft.
